ASSISTING LOCAL NON-PROFITS IN SUPPORT OF OUR COMMUNITY
The Christmas Cheer Foundation supports local non-profit organizations whose efforts provide assistance and programs to disadvantaged families during the Christmas season. Our board welcomes everyone to get in touch in order to discuss funding opportunities. We encourage charities to review our application process to find out if we can work together in contributing a little extra cheer to our local communities.

Our board welcomes everyone to get in touch in order to discuss funding opportunities. We encourage charities to review our application process to find out if we can work together in contributing a little extra cheer to our local communities
APPLICATION REVIEWS
On an annual basis, our board reviews applications from charities throughout the months of November and December. Each year, charities must apply or resubmit their information in order to be considered for funding by the Christmas Cheer Foundation. Applications that are received outside of our granting period may be carried over into the next year for consideration.

ASSISTING LOCAL NON-PROFITS IN SUPPORT OF OUR COMMUNITY
The Christmas Cheer Foundation supports local non-profit organizations whose efforts provide assistance and programs to disadvantaged individuals and families during the Christmas season. The amount of funds that Christmas Cheer is able to distribute is dependent on how much is raised at the Christmas Cheer Breakfast.
We encourage all charities to join in the promotion of the event to help us maximize the impact we can make during the holiday season.
FUNDING ELIGIBILITY
Organizations must be registered charities conducting operations within the boundaries of the City of Ottawa. Applicants must demonstrate that they provide food assistance during the December holiday season.
APPLICATION REVIEWS
The application deadline is August 31 by midnight. Applications received after this date will not be considered for the current year. After September 30, applicants are welcome to re-submit for the following year.
Our Grant Committee and Board review applications from charities during the month of September. Each year, charities must apply or resubmit their information in order to be considered for funding by the Christmas Cheer Foundation.
